For many of us, basketball was our first love.

Our hoop dreams; our first hope of salvation.

Our courts; our first sanctuaries.

We spent thousands of hours training for the competition, only to realize that our strongest and only opponent was always ourselves.

Many of our journeys have led us from the game, but the game will never leave us.

We will always be our only opponent.
